Gwen Stefani is an American actress, singer, songwriter and fashion designer. Gwen Stefani was born and raised in Fullerton, California, and was named after a stewardess from the 1968 novel Airport. Gwen shot onto the music scene in 1995 as the front woman to the band No Doubt. Their hugely successful album Tragic Kingdom, sold over 16 million copies worldwide. In 2004, Gwen Stefani recorded her first solo album, “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.”, and has since gone on to record a second.
Becoming a fashion designer was extremely natural for Gwen Stefani. She had designed and created most of the clothing she wore on stage when she was with No Doubt. In 2003, Gwen Stefani introduced her fashion line L.A.M.B, which consists of clothing influenced by Japanese and Jamaican styles. Stefani expanded her collection in 2005 with the creation of Harajuku Lovers line, which includes baby clothes, handbags and watches.
