Sarah Jessica Parker is an award winning American actress and producer. Parker was born in Nelsonville, Ohio to a Jewish American couple. As a young girl, Sarah trained in ballet and singing, which lead to being cast in the Broadway production of The Innocents. She later appeared in the Broadway musical Annie – first in the small role as July, then eventually taking over the title role of Annie. Television and movies followed, but the role of her lifetime came in 1998 when she began to play Carrie Bradshaw, a newspaper journalist, on the HBO television series Sex and the City.
Parker is considered to be one of the most stylish and fashionable celebrities, and is often on “Best Dressed” lists. Parker released her own fragrance in 2005 called "Lovely" - an innocent parody in itself. 2007 will see the launch of her first clothing line, Bitten.
